First port of call, Santiago de Cuba. This was the home base of Fidel Castro's revolution. We visited the national cemetery, an Afro Cuban youth center where they performed their traditional dances for us, San Juan Hill, site of "Teddy's Rough Riders", and a 15th century Governor's house that is now a museum of furniture over the centuries.
